Graduation regalia are required for those who wish to participate in a future on-campus ceremony. Doctoral students are offered an optional souvenir basic black doctoral cap & gown for $50 (plus shipping if ship-to-home) is selected through the Balfour website link at the end of the email sent from Commencement Services. However, the custom FSU fine-quality doctoral regalia outfit is to be worn by doctoral graduates at the ceremony. Rental orders will be available for pick up beginning Wednesday, December 13th at the University Store from 8 am-4:15 pm. A photo ID is required for all pickup orders.

Deadlines:
Note to Doctoral Candidates: According to the Doctoral guidelines for participation in the graduation ceremony, you will be required to complete the oral defense of your dissertation to receive clearance to participate in the ceremony. If you plan to do this prior to the required date (please check with your department), you should place an order following the instructions above. Doctoral attire is a requirement if you plan to participate in the ceremony. If for some reason you are not cleared to walk prior to the ceremony, you will be responsible for any rental fees in subsequent semesters. Please contact the Office of Graduate Services if you have questions about the approval process to participate in the ceremony.

**Please note: You may return your souvenir regalia unopened within 30 days and we will gladly refund you the purchase price less shipping. All returned items must be unopened and in their original packaging.**
